He takes the form of a seven hundred metre long, pitiless cyclops-rhinoceros-snail.

Jip created humanity six thousand years ago.

If you believe in Jip, he will look favourably on your prayers.

If you do not believe in Jip, he will think nothing of it.

Jip's most sacred site is Ringsted in Denmark.

Jip's Holy Commandments

1. Erect a giant zinc sculpture of Jip in the centre of the settlement.

2. Never remain bowed at dawn.

3. Never carve symbols of galaxies into wood.

4. Never gather six swans near wells.

5. Never cross mountains at midday.
